How do people seek guidance from Claude? We looked at 1M conversations using our privacy-preserving tool to understand what questions people ask, how Claude responds, and where it slips into sycophancy. We used what we found to improve how we trained Opus 4.7 and Mythos Preview. Read more: https://lnkd.in/g3WVGy99

Claude Security is now in public beta and available to Claude Enterprise customers. Many security teams have asked how to put Opus 4.7 to work on cyber defense without standing up custom tooling. Claude Security is that on-ramp: it scans your codebase, validates each finding to reduce false positives, and suggests patches your team can review and approve. No API integration or agent build required. Since the research preview in February, hundreds of organizations have run it on production code and found vulnerabilities existing scanners had missed. Based on early feedback, the public beta adds scheduled scans for ongoing coverage, directory-level targeting, CSV and Markdown exports for your existing security tools, and documented dismissals so triage decisions carry forward across scans. Claude Security is one path. The same capabilities also reach defenders through organizations building on Claude. Claude Enterprise customers can start scanning today. Theo Hourmouzis has been appointed General Manager for Australia and New Zealand, as we officially open the doors to our Sydney office. Theo joins us from Snowflake, where he led operations across Australia and New Zealand and ASEAN and worked with enterprise and public sector organisations to help them embrace AI and design implementations. Theo’s appointment follows our MOU with the Australian Government on AI safety research and the goals of the National AI Plan, and new partnerships across Australia's research and startup communities. New Anthropic research: Project Deal. We created a marketplace for employees in our San Francisco office, with one big twist. We tasked Claude with buying, selling and negotiating on our colleagues’ behalf. We wanted to learn what future markets with AI “agents” on both sides might look like—and what pitfalls society will need to watch out for. We're expanding our partnership with Amazon to secure up to 5 gigawatts of new compute for training and deploying Claude. Capacity begins coming online this quarter, with nearly 1 gigawatt expected by the end of 2026. Our more than $100 billion commitment to AWS over the next decade will help us keep Claude at the frontier and meet growing demand, including from the more than 100,000 customers running Claude on AWS. Amazon is also investing an additional $5 billion in Anthropic today, with up to $20 billion more in the future. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gKUHn4NP

Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back. You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision. It also has substantially better vision. It can see images at more than three times the resolution and produces higher-quality interfaces, slides, and docs as a result. Claude Opus 4.7 is available today on claude.ai, the Claude Platform, and all major cloud platforms. Read more: https://lnkd.in/etWzCcdq

Introducing Project Glasswing: an urgent initiative to help secure the world’s most critical software. It’s powered by our newest frontier model, Claude Mythos Preview, which can find software vulnerabilities better than all but the most skilled humans: https://lnkd.in/eS-fu9BF We’ve partnered with Amazon Web Services, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Google, JPMorganChase, the Linux Foundation, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Palo Alto Networks. Together we’ll use Mythos Preview to help find and fix flaws in the systems on which the world depends. Mythos Preview has already found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities—including some in every major operating system and web browser. Given the pace of AI progress, it won't be long before models this capable are widespread. But there are strong reasons for optimism: AI will also be invaluable for defensive work. We do not plan to make Mythos Preview generally available. Our goal is to deploy Mythos-class models safely at scale, but first we need safeguards that reliably block their most dangerous outputs. We’ll begin testing those safeguards with an upcoming Claude Opus model. We’re committing up to $100M in Mythos Preview usage credits for our partners and over 40 other organizations that maintain critical software, including open-source projects. Anthropic will report back what we learn. Project Glasswing is just a starting point. No organization can solve these cybersecurity problems alone: industry, open source, researchers, and governments all have essential roles to play. You can read a detailed technical report on the software vulnerabilities and exploits discovered by Claude Mythos Preview here: https://lnkd.in/eE7Kp9ZX The Claude Mythos Preview system card is available here: https://lnkd.in/esH2-mfd

We've signed an agreement with Google and Broadcom for multiple gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity, coming online starting in 2027, to train and serve frontier Claude models. Our run-rate revenue has surpassed $30 billion, up from $9 billion at the end of 2025, as demand for Claude continues to accelerate. This partnership gives us the compute to keep pace. The vast majority of this capacity will be sited in the United States, adding significantly to our November commitment to invest $50 billion in American computing infrastructure.
