Preamble

  • Microsoft Office Online integrated into kDrive only exists in one version; it is therefore not possible to change or improve its functionalities by modifying a Microsoft license: this version standalone is the only one offered by Microsoft for this type of integration, and no more complete version is provided or available for this infrastructure.
  • Technically, the integration of Office Online in kDrive is based on an infrastructure hosted in Infomaniak's own data centers, ensuring that documents never leave its sovereign environment and are never transmitted to Microsoft.
  • Refer to this other guide regarding the possibilities offered by the native editor on kDrive.
  • To set this editor as default, refer to this other guide.
